It has been quite a while since I had some friends in Colorado snag a 1989 Team MC Custom mountain bike for me off of a Craigslist ad. Come to think of it, it has been more than a year ago now. To be honest, I kind of forgot they had it for a while. Life got very busy for me as well as for them so it just sat there in an Arvada, CO garage waiting…
I received a call and voicemail yesterday that my once forgotten mountain bike had been dropped off at a local Arvada bike shop to be boxed for shipping. Excellent. Exciting!
I look forward to receiving it soon and will likely do something a bit different with this bike on the web site. I’m thinking about doing a bit of a “rags to riches” video showing the process of how I go about getting a bike to me and what is done to it once it arrives. In the past I’ve pretty much only posted the completed “after” photos but I know some of you would really love to see the “in between” stages as well.
