I have owned this bike for around 5 years now I’d guess. I purchased it from the original owner and cleaned it up before photographing it and shooting a video of the bike for use on the PBVM YouTube channel. I had actually never even ridden the bike until October 2017 or so when the new tires were fitted.
While 1986 wasn’t the first year for the DX-3000, it was in my opinion one if not the most desirable year. The black and yellow color scheme was new for ’86 and it really made the bike stand out. The components were by no means high end but they were certainly respectable for a sport rider.

Very nice condition overall but this is a used bicycle that is now more than 30 years old. Don’t expect absolute perfection here. A few scratches etc. are to be expected.
