The 1989 Panasonic DX-5000 was the 2nd from the top in the DX lineup for 1989.  The bicycle featured below belongs to Robert M.  Interestingly, I tried to buy this bike off of Craigslist a year or two ago when it was for sale.  Rob beat me to it and enjoys it to this day.  If I recall, he got a truly amazing buy on this bike… around $150.
